One of the best things about the holidays, other than the food and getting to see your family, is that you get to dress up for all those dinner parties and get-togethers and show off your style!
You might already have the perfect outfit picked out for your thanksgiving dinner or two even, if you are attending more than one! Not to mention, it is never to early to think about what you will wear for Christmas Eve dinner or even Christmas dinner! While what to wear can be quite a challenge, most of us have an idea of what we might wear, but have you thought about what you are going to do with your hair? Tie Your Locks Up
Really, there are some pretty classic hairstyles that you can put your own personal style into that can really take the show. Buns are a great example of this. Low buns, high buns, messy buns, and sock buns...all have their unique qualities and are pretty simple to do. They look great as a cold weather style because they pair so nicely with scarves and coats. You can even add ribbons and bows in to give it some sparkle and individuality. The black bow and black ribbon was quite the hit not too long ago, or try something festive to really make the holidays special!
Show Off Your Length
Maybe you aren’t a huge fan of pulling your hair up into a bun or into a ponytail holder. If you aren’t, don’t worry there are plenty of stylish and lovely things you can do with your hair. Maybe you want to keep it down and straighten it. Always a gorgeous and sophisticated look. If you want to spice it up for the holidays, try a festive clip or headband just for those fun parties you have written down in your planner.
Braid It Up...Or Down
Braids are just never really going to go out of style. With all the alterations and new ways to style them, you really have so many options to choose from. A classic side braid is comforting and warming, or braid a headband look into your hair and leave the rest down for a unique and lovely style. However you choose to braid your hair, tie it off with a cute ribbon or clip it in place with a sparkly clip to add some extra shine to your look!
